Kindergarten and Limited Hours Care Within the centre is the Sunbird Children's Centre which runs a quality child care program with an embedded government approved Kindergarten program for children aged 12mths to 5yrs. Play based child care - a fun, safe place for children to interact with their peers and learn whilst having fun. Children are supported by professional and qualified educators. Educational early childhood programs delivering government approved curriculum that help children to develop a lifelong love of learning. Enrol your child in our Government approved kindergarten program for their important pre-prep year. Free Kindy for 2024 & 2025 FREE KINDY is for children who are aged at least 4 years by 30 June in the year before they start school. Kindy is a part-time educational program for children in the year before Prep. It is 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year during school terms only and is free for Queensland children attending a government-approved kindergarten program. Limited Hours Care Our Limited Hours Care programs operates 20 hours per week, 40 weeks per year during school terms only. Playgroup An opportunity for parents / carers to come together in an informal atmosphere where they can connect support and discuss concerns and milestones. Children learn to play and socialise in a a happy and safe environment socialising with others whilst developing problem solving and negotiating skills. |
Family Support Services
Our Family Support Service is committed to providing families and community members prompt and professional responses to service requests and or referral assistance to allow all persons to feel safe, valued and empowered, whatever their circumstances, in the process of their requests for assistance.
